I'll Huff & I'll Puff....

We are currently staying with my mom while our house is being built. It has been interesting and not as bad as I thought it would be to move back "home". We have been lucky enough to have 2 bedrooms to use and our own bathroom. Too bad my mom only has t.v's in our bedroom, her bedroom and the basement. Because of this, we spend alot of our time in our bedroom piled on the bed watching t.v. which I hate. Other than that, I am pretty happy that we are getting a taste of "house" living because its awesome to be able to go outside and play with Rilyn. We actually have a yard that he can run around in with out trying to avoid "Land Mines". My mom also lives on a quiet kid-friendly street so lots of kids Rilyns age are running around outside while all the parents chitchat. I cant wait to be in our neighborhood. Hopefully we have some munchkins Ri's age to keep him entertained.

Speaking of our neighborhood, if it wasnt for Rilyn we wouldnt have know that our house was being framed. Yesterday morning Jeff, Rilyn and I were sitting on our bed talking about what we did Saturday night. I went out for a pink-themed party and dancing at Patricks for my BFF Sarahs birthday (Happy Birthday Sarah....Todays Her Actual Birthday) with Sarah (of course), Sarah (not a typo, a different one) and her sister, Steph and her sister, Carrie, Lisa and my BFF Taryn ( omg Taryn...did you notice I made a reference to your new title :P ) . Jeff wemt to BWW to watch the UFC fights with his friends Ben, Mitch and Jeff P. Rilyn had a fun night with Grandma Vi and his cousin Malachi who stayed the night. We asked him what they did and Ri goes " we went to the store and saw our new house..." Jeff and I looked at each other and were like " What...you saw our house?" He repeated himself and said " yeah, but grandma said I cant live there yet cause its not done.... but almost" We asked him what it looked like and he said "a house."

We were intrigued so we decided to drive over there and check it out. Sure enough our house was "almost" done in the sense of a little kid. He could make out the shape of a house because it was being framed. YAY! we were sooo excited. I took pictures but havent learned how to upload pictures on my moms computer so boo on that. Rilyn looked at the house and was all" I told you it was almost done" (what a smartbutt)...He wanted to know where his room was, so we showed him the cut-out of his window and told him thats where his big boy room would be. He was soo happy and excited. He kept saying " when I grow really big and be good, thats going to be where my room is...I so happy!" It was super cute. We were telling him that it wasnt ready yet and he said " Our house isnt finished yet, so the big bad wolf can still blow it down....right mommy, right?" I said "yep thats right...so we better wait till its finished to move in" he goes
" yeah".

We are so excited to see progress on our house. Its exciting to see more than just a cement base. Hopefully they move along quicker so our house doesnt get blown down by the big bad wolf. I dont know about the three little pigs, but I would be super pissed and in the words of Ri I might have to ask the wolf " you want to fight about it".

Love The Hagans-
