How far along? 15 wks 2 days
Weight gain/loss: 5lbs <----Im hoping to keep this to a minimum. I gained 60lbs with Ri and was A LOT smaller back then. I will say I will definitely be scared to post this number the farther along I get.
Maternity clothes? My lovely mother bought me some maternity shirts. I have a few that I throw in the rotation. Most are too big to wear right now but will be perfect when I become GIGANTIC like Susan on Monsters v. Aliens. I still wear my own tees because, well, I love them and I dont mind sporting a baby bump. I HAVE started to sport some maternity jeans (hence the title). Im completely serious about the suspenders. I can NOT keep my pants from falling down. I bought a size too big because I am too cheap to buy multiple pairs.
Stretch marks? Yes, none from this preggo session yet. They are all battle wounds from Ri and Im hoping those will be enough for this one too.
Sleep? Im slowly getting the "pep in my step" back, but do find myself NOT wanting to get up in the morning. I now press snooze twice and then wait for J's alarm to go off before I get up.
Best moment this week? Bob Moment: I think I may have felt Bob moving. I felt some "flutters". J is still going with "Its gas, you just need to fart", but I think just maybe it might be Bob saying hello.
Rilyn Moment: Having Ri talk to Bob and for Bob (he knows exactly what the baby is thinking) and kissing/hugging my stomach. He is going to be the best big brother. So excited for them to meet.
Food cravings: Salsa...anything Mexican right now. But lots and lots of salsa.
Gender: about 6 more weeks till we find out.
Belly button in or out? In, although J (he has a knack for saying crazy stuff) thinks that it has expanded.
Movement? See "Best Moment Of The Week"
What I miss? Being able to sleep through the night without potty breaks. That and my trusty Aleve.
What I'm looking forward to: Seeing Rilyns reaction when we go to the gender appointment and he finds out if he is having a little brother or sister. It should be classic. We are really wanting to record it.
Milestones: I have officially made it through the first trimester as a working woman. It was rough, but I made it. With Ri, I was a stay at home wife taking Sadie for walks and doing college homework to graduate.
p.s. Picture to come next week for my 16 wk/ 4 month shot.
Love The Hagans-
