Gobblins, Ghouls and Ghosts, Oh My! October may quite possibly be Rilyns favorite month. Not only is his birthday during the month of October, but so is Halloween. As much as this boy loves to dress up and play pretend, its no surprise that he was thrilled to find the perfect costume for the big day.
Ri and Jeff have recently starting watching all of the Harry Potter movies, and they really enjoy them. Its the perfect father/son activity for them to do together. Because of this, it came as no surprise when Ri said that he wanted to go as Harry Potter for Halloween. He loved going to get all the accessories and bringing his costume to full readiness.
Last year during the 'after Halloween' sales, I found a really cute blue dragon for Xavier. He looked SO adorable. He wasnt fond of it at first, but it slowly grew on him.
Rilyn had a "Harvest Party" at school and I was lucky enough to get off work to join in on the festivities. Later that night, we took the boys out in the neighborhood to trick or treat and had an absolute blast. Our entire family dressed up. Jeff and I were referees and then we had Harry Potter and the blue dragon. After a bit, Xavier and I headed back to the house to hand out candy while Jeff and Rilyn continued through the neighborhood. Overall a great night!!
